About THE Rabbi
Reverend Hazan Daniel Benlolo
Born in Casablanca, Morocco, Reverend Hazan Daniel Benlolo moved to Montreal in the 1970s. Fluent in multiple languages, he became a Hazan at 17, serving the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue of Montreal. He later masterred diverse Ashkenazi and Sefardi Cantorial styles in New York and gained worldwide recognition as a talented artisan and performer. RH Benlolo served both as Rabbi and Hazan at prestigious communities and has received numerous awards for his dedication and commitment to helping others, including the Governor General Caring Canadian and United Way awards and the title of Ambassador for Peace. In 2017, he obtained his Rabbinical ordination and returned to Montreal.
